  • What is your Guarantee Policy?
    Nursery Guarantee Policy: all nursery plants are guaranteed for one year from date of sale if the plant fails to live after being planted. If material is damaged by rodents and/or deer, warranty is void. Plant material will only be replaced once. To receive credit: customer must return entire plant and sales invoice, a new plant will be given of equal size and value at no charge. There will be no guarantee on rose bushes, asparagus roots, strawberries, greenhouse annuals, perennials or plants planted above ground in planters.

  • When is it safe to buy and plant spring annuals?
    It is generally safe to plant annuals after the last frost. While their is still a 50% chance of frost after May 10th, many in the area choose mother's day as a starting point for purchasing annuals. To be safe, make a plan for how you will cover your annuals in case of a later frost.To cover annuals use an old bed sheet, drop cloths, or medium-weight fabric for vulnerable plants. Do not use plastic! Drap loosely over the plants to allow for air circulation. Leaving space between your covering material and the plant. Secure your cover to the ground with stakes or rocks.
